Never Clock Off by Ruby Jay Waters Presented by PIAZZA

Never Clock Off by Ruby Jay Waters brought a playful and tactile collection of one-of-a-kind ceramic timepieces and sculptures to Piazza Gallery in Fremantle.

Exploring ideas of time, routine and the everyday objects that mark our days, the exhibition featured a collection of functional ceramics, sculptural works and uniquely crafted ceramic clocks.

Each piece was lovingly hand-built or thrown on the wheel by Hound Ceramics before being painted and finished by Ruby herself, resulting in a collection that combined functionality, craftsmanship and a distinctive sense of playfulness.

Never Clock Off offered visitors an opportunity to experience Ruby’s unique approach to ceramics and her thoughtful interpretation of one of the most familiar objects in our everyday lives: the clock.
