PIAZZA Photography Prize

The PIAZZA Photography Prize celebrates the talent of photographers capturing the people, places and moments that make Fremantle and our wider creative community so unique.

From emerging photographers to established creatives, this exhibition showcased a diverse collection of work that invited you to see our community through a new lens.

Our photography shortlist selection was done by Adam Kenna, and our judging team was Christine Thomas (Director of the Perth Centre for Photography), Marnie Richardson (photographer at Three Gates Media), and Ron Bradfield Jnr (artist and community engagement facilitator at John Curtin Gallery).

The prizes are:
Overall winner - "Timo Hogan, Lake Barker" by Duncan Wright
Highly commended - "Stand still" by Mariah Machando
Highly commended - "Free" by Max Foley
Youth winner - "The visitor" by Ed Lind
People Choice winner (with over 120 votes!) - "South Beach" by Alida Turton
