Artists Make Fremantle is an outdoor typography mural located at Piazza Fremantle. Inspired by the public art initiatives of New York City, this installation serves as a stark, powerful reminder of the people who give Fremantle its unique soul: our artists.

The mural is a direct, localised homage to a famous quote celebrating New York's visual identity, swapping the American metropolis for our own historic port city.

The concept was envisioned by the Founder of Piazza Fremantle, who spent 25 years living and working in New York. Having witnessed firsthand how legendary creators shape cities, the Founder wanted to bring that exact same energy home. By echoing the spirit of global art hubs, this message connects Fremantle's local grassroots movement to an international legacy of urban expression.
